At Moddy by Cody, we take pride in crafting high-quality customized watches built to last. To help you get the most out of your timepiece and maintain its performance, please follow these care guidelines:

Always screw down the crown properly:
Make sure the crown is fully tightened and secured. This ensures your watch is sealed and helps protect it from dust and moisture.

Keep away from water and heat:
Our watches are handcrafted and not designed for water exposure or extreme heat. Rapid temperature changes or contact with water can cause condensation inside the case, which may affect visibility and damage internal components.
(Avoid water unless your model includes the water resistance upgrade.)

If your watch is water-resistant:
Make sure the crown is closed tightly before any contact with water. Even then, avoid hot water completely, as heat can compromise seals.

Avoid harsh chemicals:
Do not expose your watch to corrosive liquids or cleaning agents that can damage the case, bracelet, or internal mechanism. If contact occurs, gently clean the area with a soft, dry cloth.

Service it regularly:
We recommend taking your watch to a trusted watchmaker from time to time for cleaning, lubrication, and adjustments to keep it running smoothly.

Store it properly:
When you're not wearing it, keep your watch in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight or heat. A clean storage box or case is ideal to maintain its appearance.

Handle with care:
Avoid dropping or bumping the watch, as impacts can damage the crystal, movement, or casing.
